Market rules

This event predicts whether Meta Platforms (META) closes higher on the first full U.S. regular trading day after its earnings release. The release timestamp is determined from the issuer's official investor-relations publication. The target session is the release day when released before 9:30 AM ET on a full regular trading day; otherwise it is the next full 9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET regular trading day. Compare the target-session close with the immediately preceding regular-session close that produced an official close. Yes requires a strictly higher target close; equal or lower resolves No. Pyth 1-minute candles are primary, with a whole-source Nasdaq fallback if either required candle remains unavailable 24 hours after the target close. Pre-market and after-hours prices do not count. If a settlement dispute, an ambiguity not expressly covered by these rules, or a conflict between the specified authoritative sources arises, the platform will make the final determination in good faith based on these published rules, the named sources, and objectively verifiable facts. This clause does not permit changing the stated outcome criterion, observation period, or source after the result is known. The earnings-release timestamp is determined from Meta Platforms's official investor-relations publication; a conference-call start time is not treated as the release time. If the release occurs at or after 9:30 AM ET, after the close, on a weekend, exchange holiday, or early-close day, use the next full regular session. Compare the Pyth 1-minute candle close corresponding to 4:00 PM ET on the target session with the Pyth 1-minute candle close corresponding to 4:00 PM ET on the immediately preceding regular session that produced a close. Resolve Yes only if the target close is strictly higher; resolve No if it is equal to or lower. Pyth values are used exactly as published without rounding. If either required Pyth candle remains unavailable 24 hours after the target close, use Nasdaq official regular-session closing prices for both sessions; never mix Pyth and Nasdaq. If no official close is produced because of a halt, move to the next full regular session that produces a close. For splits, reverse splits, dividends, spin-offs, rights distributions, or similar corporate actions, compare prices adjusted on the same basis by the controlling source. A symbol change does not invalidate the market when the security remains the same. If no comparable close can ever be produced because the security is permanently delisted or extinguished, apply the platform's invalid-market/refund treatment. Official corrections before result submission are considered; later revisions do not reopen settlement.
