How do Autopay and Manual repayment work?

What repayment options are available?

There are two repayment options: Autopay and Manual repayment.

What happens to my crypto when I make a purchase?

When you make a purchase, the equivalent amount of stablecoins in your Pay account is held as collateral. The collateral amount will show on the reserved balance. What happens next depends on your repayment method.

What happens to my crypto when I make a card payment?

Autopay: Reserved stablecoins are automatically sold to repay settled purchases. You'll receive statements for your Card activity, usually with no amount left to pay.

Manual repayment:

You can repay using USD from your OKX Exchange account or reserved stablecoins. USD repayment releases the corresponding stablecoins and increases your available credit. Repayment using reserved stablecoins consumes that reserve and does not increase your available credit.

If you don't repay by the final payment date, reserved stablecoins are liquidated to cover unpaid collectible amounts. Amounts protected by a pending billing-error investigation are not collected or liquidated.Your final payment date is 21 days after your statement is issued.

How long is the billing cycle and payment period?

Billing cycles are 28 days. Your balance is due on the date OKX issues your statement, but you have another 21 days to make payment before it is considered late.

Can I make partial or smaller minimum payments?

No smaller partial payment is supported. You must pay the full payable statement amount, excluding protected amounts under a billing-error investigation. The statement's Minimum payment due field represents that full payable amount, not an optional smaller payment.

What if I don't pay by the final deadline?

The final payment date is 21 days after your statement is issued. Unpaid collectible amounts are subject to reserved-stablecoin liquidation after that deadline. Amounts protected by a pending billing-error investigation are excluded. Liquidation is not a guarantee that an uncovered balance is fully repaid. There are no late payment fees or interest charges, and no APR.

Can I change methods?

You choose your repayment method during the card application process, before the card is issued. You can change it at any time after issuance — the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
