Global Dollar (USDG) is a regulated U.S. dollar, backed stablecoin issued by Paxos Digital Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PDS) on the Ethereum, Solana, X Layer, and Ink networks. Each USDG is redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars held in segregated accounts. Reserves consist of cash and short-term U.S. Treasuries and equivalents, with monthly attestations.
Who issues USDG?
USDG is issued by Paxos Digital Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PDS), which is licensed as a major payment institution (MPI) by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). USDG is designed to comply with the MAS stablecoin regulatory framework.
What is USDG Rewards?
USDG Rewards is a feature that lets you automatically earn rewards simply by holding USDG in your OKX trading, funding, or loan account.
You can turn it on or off at any time, while still using your USDG as collateral in Flexible Loan.
How do I start earning USDG Rewards?
You can start earning USDG in one of the following two ways:
1. Trade or convert your stablecoins to a minimum of 1 USDG, then hold your USDG to earn continuous rewards.
2. Hold a minimum of 1 USDG in your account by trading or depositing. With USDG holdings in your account, earning is turned on by default. You’ll receive rewards as long as earning isn’t turned off.
